Report something that is not right

A useful report has four parts: the page, what you chose (style, name type, how many), what you saw and what you expected, with why. With those we can tell whether the page or the sound lists are at fault.

Here is a made-up example, written to show the detail that helps; it is not a real report.

Rights or removal requests

If you believe something on Name Cauldron infringes your rights, choose “Rights or removal request” in the form or email [email protected] with the page address and what you want changed.

What the form stores

The form keeps the time of your note, whether you marked it helpful or needing more stirring, the page address, the topic you picked and your note (up to 1,000 characters). It keeps the newest 300 notes and does not ask for your name or email. To stop one person flooding it, a scrambled one-way form of your IP address is held for 20 seconds and then forgotten.
